Do I need cleaning experience to apply?
No — attitude and reliability matter more than experience. Cleaning or hospitality experience helps, but we'll train the right person on our system, and every trial shift is paid.
How much does the job pay?
A competitive hourly rate plus 25% casual loading and superannuation, paid on time. As casual roles, pay follows the applicable award and the national minimum casual rates set by the Fair Work Ombudsman.
Are the trial shifts paid?
Yes. Every trial shift is paid at the casual rate — we never ask you to work for free.
Do I need my own car and licence?
For some roles, yes — short-stay turnovers around Castlemaine and Daylesford usually need your own transport. We ask on the application form, and some inner-Melbourne gym and strata work is more accessible by public transport.
Where would I be working?
In and around Castlemaine, Daylesford and inner Melbourne — local work close to home, not the CBD.
What days and hours would I work?
It's casual and flexible. Gym cleans can be early mornings, short-stay turnovers are often around checkout times, and strata work is scheduled — tell us your availability and we build around it.
Do I need the right to work in Australia?
Yes, you'll need valid working rights in Australia. We confirm this on the application form.
